Yashvin Neehaul, with a background in physical chemistry of living systems, embodies the dynamic intersection of chemistry and biology. He currently serves as the Environmental Sustainability Manager at Eclosia, where he continuously discovers new challenges in his role. “It’s a constant learning process. Every day brings new challenges. I find myself in an environment that suits me perfectly. Since joining, I’ve had the opportunity to guide companies in implementing environmental actions, lead environmental forums, develop action plans, and support businesses in project calls.”

Yashvin Neehaul’s career began as a lecturer in chemistry at the University of Strasbourg, where he also pursued his doctoral thesis between 2009 and 2012. Upon returning to Mauritius in 2013, he joined the Mauritius Oceanography Institute as a researcher. Over the years, he has been involved in major projects tackling crucial issues such as ocean acidification, nitrate pollution, and plastic pollution. In 2022, Yashvin decided to join Cap Business Océan Indien as a Blue Economy Project Manager, where he remained until the end of June 2023.

Outside of work, Yashvin has a passion for football and enjoys snorkeling with his eldest daughter—activities that allow him to recharge and maintain a balance between his professional and personal life.
