Michel de Spéville is the founder of the Eclosia Group. His natural instinct as an entrepreneur coupled with his passion for animals have driven this accountant to start breeding chickens after office hours in the sixties. His flair for business and his constant quest for excellence have led the group to become a major player. He was ordered Commander of the British Empire in 1980 by the Queen. He is a member of various boards of companies in various sectors of the Mauritian economy. He has been decorated with the awards of “chevalier de la Légion d’honneur” by the French government in 2015

Born in 1979, Cédric de Spéville holds a Master in Economics from the Sorbonne University in Paris in 2001, an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics in 2003 and obtained a Master in Business Administration from Columbia Business School (New York) in 2007. He was a Consultant for COFINTER in Paris from 2002 to 2003 and joined Eclosia Group in 2003. In February 2009, he was appointed Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer in January 2013. Cédric de Spéville is a Past President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce & Industry (2011– 2013) and of Business Mauritius (2017 – 2019). He is director of several listed and non-listed companies in Mauritius. He is also a board member of numerous private companies of Eclosia Group.

With a master in management, Gérard Boullé managed various logistics companies during his career. In 2005, he became the General Manager of Les Moulins de la Concorde until 2009 when he was appointed COO for the Food Industry and Logistics sectors at the Corporate Office.
We need to get closer to Africa to get new growth areas for the group.
After 15 years spent at FTL – where he was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2008 – Cédric Lagesse became the Managing Director of Panagora Marketing in 2014. He is the holder of a Master in International Trade. Cédric Lagesse was appointed Chief Operating Officer in July 2021.

Mixing Mauritian and Italian backgrounds, Gita landed in Mauritius in 2013. Having worked for more than 100 clients in American and European communication agencies – especially as the General Manager of FleishmanHillard in Paris and in Milan – she has a solid experience in building brand and communication strategies. Gita holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science combined with History at La Sorbonne, followed by an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.

Geerish Hookoomsing began his career at Gujadhur Chambers in the 1980s. He specialized in industrial and criminal cases before transitioning to human resources in the textile sector and later in the hospitality industry. He held key positions at Rogers, Corotex Textile, Naïade Resorts (now LUX), and Le Domaine de Bel Ombre Heritage Resorts. In 2015, he joined Eclosia, contributing to major projects at Panagora and Les Moulins de la Concorde. Passionate about employee development and the promotion of diversity, he is recognized for his dedication and inspiring leadership.

Having a financial and business administration background, Axel Lemarchand has a strong experience in consulting, in France and abroad, leading several business transformation projects for his clients for Deloitte, PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting and as Associate Partner at IBM Global Business Services. He is the Chief Technology Officer of Eclosia Group since 2016.
What struck me at Eclosia is this mix of professionalism, simplicity and goodwill within the group.
Caroline joined the Group in 2000 and held several positions, mainly as Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Maurilait Production Ltd (2012-2022) after completing a degree in Agricultural and Food Engineering. Caroline also has an MBA from the Parisian universities Sorbonne and Dauphine. She is currently completing a Master in Sustainable Development and CSR. Caroline was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer in December 2022.

Born in 1982, Cédric Poonisami is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant. He also holds an LLB from the University of London, an MBA from the University of Mauritius, and the Advanced Management Programme from INSEAD. Prior to joining Eclosia, Cédric successively held several management positions such as Finance & Administration Manager at Mautourco, Chief Finance & Administration Officer at Rogers Aviation and Finance & Administration Country Director at ICPS.

After his tertiary studies in Management in France, Julien Audibert joined the group in 2002 at Southern Marine for a few months before becoming the Project Development Coordinator at FTL. He spent eight years in different departments of FTL before being appointed CEO in 2011 up to June 2020. He is now the General Manager of LMLC since 1st July 2020.

Nicolas Caboche holds a Bachelor in Economics from University of Reunion Island and a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Poitiers France. He joined Happy World Foods Ltd in 1999 in various management positions and from 2005 to 2013, he was appointed General Manager of Pizza Hut. He joined Emtel Ltd as Head of Mobile Payment Services from 2013 to 2015 and in 2016 he joined Phoenix Beverages Ltd as Senior Manager – Innovation & Product Development. Nicolas Caboche was appointed General Manager of Pick N Eat Ltd in June 2021.

Dr Jeremy Charoux has been a Director at the Charles Telfair Institute since 2014. Prior to this, he has held senior management positions at the Coca-Cola Company and Unilever. He has experience in developed and emerging markets including Australia, New Zealand, Southern and East Africa. He has an MBA from the Wits Business School in South Africa and holds a PhD in Brand Strategy.

Holder of an MBA from the university of Surrey, Rocky Forget joined Avipro in 1980 in the Farming division. About ten years later, he chose to join LFL, as a Technical & Commercial Manager before taking the management of the company in 1999.

Holder of a Master in Biochemistry from the university of Aix-Marseille and a postgraduate in Food & Nutrition in Montpellier, Nicolas Lamusse spent about ten years at Maurilait Production. After a short passage at the Processing plant of Avipro and at the Corporate Office in the projects department, he became the General Manager of New Maurifoods in 2009. Since August 2022, Nicolas Lamusse has been up to a new challenge: implementing poultry projects of Avipro in Rwanda.
One should never give up because there is always a solution. But it might not be the easiest way.
After his Master in visual communications, edition and advertising in Paris, the Managing and Executive Creative Director of Circus Advertising started his career in the French capital as an art director at Alice agency. He joined Circus in 2002 and was appointed Managing Director in 2011.

Junaid Muslun makes his first move into Pick’n’Eat as the Financial Manager. This financial expert has also developed IT skills throughout his career when he realised the impact of new technologies on the business. He was appointed Managing Director in 2010. Junaid Muslun was appointed General Manager in July 2021.

Ranjoy Neerohoo has over 24 years’ experience in freight forwarding, shipping, transport and logistics. He holds an MBA from Aston Business School, Birmingham UK. Ranjoy Neerohoo started his career in 1997 at Transworld Cargo, Rogers Group, before joining FTL in 1998. He held various roles at FTL before becoming Sea Freight Operations Manager. He joined Maersk Line in 2004 as Line and Operations Manager. Ranjoy Neerohoo has then held the roles of Indian Ocean Cluster Sales Marketing Manager and Managing Director before moving to Senegal as Regional Managing Director for Maersk Line in North West Africa. During his tenure at Maersk Line he has chaired various boards and led several projects, namely in lean management, outsourcing and offshoring, customer care and digital innovation. Ranjoy Neerohoo also exercised as consultant in transport and logistics after leaving Maersk Line. He joined back FTL in March 2020.

Jérome Poutot is of French origin but was born and bred in Madagascar. After a few years in France, where he completed his engineering studies, he came back to work in Madagascar in 1996. He joined the group in 2011 as country manager.
There are so many opportunities to explore in Madagascar based on the diversification process achieved in Mauritius for the past 40 years.
After completing a Masters in Ecology and Environment, specializing in Aquatic Ecosystems, Stephane Robert joined Eclosia in 1995. He held the positions of Farm Manager (Beauvoir) and Hatchery Manager in Mauritius and then moved to Madagascar in 2004 as Director of Operations for LFL Madagascar. He joined an industrial group in 2005 as General Manager in Madagascar, then in Mauritius. Stéphane Robert joined back the Group in 2019 as General Manager at Oceanarium (Mauritius) Ltd (Odysseo).

After his studies in Switzerland, Rolph Schmid started his career as a Chef in renowned hotels such as Hyatt, Southern Sun, Intercontinental and Beachcomber. He was then led to take up new challenges in the Rooms Division and as the assistant manager of various hotels. He joined the Group in 1999 and he is the Managing Director of Ninety-Six Hotel Collection since 2012.

During her 2nd year at the University of Natal, South-Africa, Nadine was exposed to IT for the first time. She was recruited as Analyst Programmer by Unilever operating in Durban where she took on many challenges in the field as a System Analyst, Business Analyst and Senior Process Analyst. Upon her return to Mauritius, she took up employment as IT Manager for a large Textile Group operating in Mauritius and Madagascar. In 2003, she joined New Edge Solutions as ERP Manager. Soon after she took up the function of Operations Manager and finally as General Manager in 2012.

Olivier Zuël joined Maurilait in 2004 as Production Supervisor. He was promoted Production Engineer, and then in 2011, Production Manager. A few years later, he was called to support one of the Group's digital transformation project and joined CAP 2020's team in 2017. Once the project launched in 2021, Olivier returned to Maurilait as Factory Manager. He became the company's General Manager in April 2022.
Olivier holds a Masters in Physics and a D.E.S.S in Agro-food Production from the University of La Réunion.
Denis-Claude Pilot is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting & Finance from Curtin University in Perth. He joined the Eclosia Group in 2010 after working several years with PwC in Australia. He spent three years at the Head Office before taking up new challenges as the Finance Manager of Indigo Hotels & Resorts in 2013. In beginning 2016 he was appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer. Denis-Claude loves sport in general and enjoys playing rugby in particular.
