The new LEAD Program successfully trains its first managers

In March, the first 14 managers and team leaders from ten Eclosia companies received their certificates after completing the LEAD (Leverage, Engage, Adapt, Develop) program following a busy year! A second cohort of 16 employees is currently undergoing training, set to conclude in January 2024.
Developed in collaboration with the Charles Telfair Leadership Centre, Eclosia’s LEAD program is a management development initiative featuring 12 customized modules designed to meet the Group's specific needs. Its primary goal is to help participants—managers and team leaders—enhance their self-awareness while fostering their collaborative and leadership skills.
How LEAD Transformed the Careers of Isabelle, Leena, and Ali at Eclosia
Isabelle François, Head of Shared Accounting Services:
"This training helped me better appreciate the value of teamwork by encouraging self-improvement. To achieve this, it is essential to develop strong communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.
Through this program, I learned the key qualities of a true leader. These include building trust, setting clear goals, embodying company values, fostering knowledge-sharing, encouraging change, practicing self-care, and maintaining open communication.
I am deeply grateful to Eclosia for implementing this training, which aims to unlock everyone's potential."
Leena Sit Yee, Head of Quality & Process Excellence:
"Of course, we learned techniques, acquired tools, and faced self-reflection challenges—after all, self-leadership is primarily about personal growth. But if I had to highlight one key takeaway, it would be humility.
Humility in accepting that I don’t know everything. Humility in learning to listen to others, accepting failure, staying in a continuous learning mindset, questioning my own assumptions, avoiding hasty conclusions, giving and receiving feedback, and understanding that personal development is an ongoing journey. Above all, humility in serving others to help them reach their full potential.
I also met incredible people during this training—passionate trainers and speakers who truly love their fields. I am proud of this Mauritian expertise. Moreover, I formed new friendships. How could I not express my gratitude to FTL and Eclosia for believing in me and providing such wonderful opportunities?"
Ali Gopal, Group Cybersecurity Manager:
"We will undoubtedly cherish the lessons learned from our trainers and peers, along with the small yet powerful phrases that guide us—like ‘Nose In, Finger Out,’ which highlights the importance of leaders focusing on the bigger picture while trusting their teams to handle their tasks.
With immense gratitude, I take this opportunity to sincerely thank Fabrice Koenig, Group Head of GRC, for giving me the chance to participate in this program. I also extend my heartfelt congratulations to Belinda Rault, Group Talent Manager, the Group's leadership team, and Charles Telfair Campus for creating this impactful initiative."
