What is the Leadership Challenge Programme?

Myriam Blin, Head of Charles Telfair Centre & Leadership Centre: “Participants leave the program with a transformed understanding of themselves and their role in their organization.”
The Leadership Challenge Programme is a leadership and management course that consists of 12 modules spread over 12 months. These modules cover the full spectrum of "hard" and "soft" skills needed to develop leadership that has a real impact on the organization. The 2021 program has been completely redesigned to address current challenges by building our new leadership competency model. We’ve added new modules like "Aligning Personal and Corporate Values and Ethics" and "Self-Awareness". This is a program we offer every year, and this year marks our 16th cohort!
Our program is very inspiring and is designed to have the maximum impact by focusing on active learning, sharing best practices, and applying the learners' experiences in the realities of the workplace. In this program, participants are pushed to challenge their current practices, solve problems, take on new challenges, and leave the program with a transformed understanding of themselves and their role within their organization.
What is its goal and who is it aimed at?
The program prepares participants for the next step in their careers by providing them with a solid foundation and the latest innovations in management and leadership. Through this program, participants have the opportunity to interact with quality trainers and speakers familiar with the complexities and realities of the business world, while collaborating with colleagues from different companies and industries.
The Leadership Challenge Programme is open to all existing or aspiring managers and supervisors.
How many people have enrolled, and where do they come from?
This year, we have 16 participants from various sectors: logistics, education, food, advertising, communication, etc. This mix of diverse industries promises enriching exchanges between participants this year.
This edition is special due to the current health context. How is the program organized? What challenges should participants expect?
Yes, we had to implement strict health protocols, especially for group activities and meal times. We also have an operational online learning platform, which we can switch to if health measures become stricter. The main challenges for us remain the uncertainties regarding the evolution of the crisis and the disease. It is important to us that each participant can complete their program in full and on schedule.
TESTIMONIES
"In 2017, Eclosia gave me the opportunity to follow the LCP training at the Charles Telfair Institute. This comprehensive training allowed me to deepen my knowledge but also discover new subjects, such as finance. This program, coupled with professional experience and inter-company exchanges, provides a new sensitivity to our work environment. One of the key points of the LCP is the importance of self-awareness. The work sessions and tools provided offer a clearer vision of who we are, what we want, and how to deal with various professional situations while remaining true to ourselves. There was a follow-up to the training. Eclosia asked us to work on projects that would integrate and apply our new skills. Conducting this inter-company project presentation, though challenging, was highly rewarding and continues to inspire my work."

"The Leadership Challenge Programme (LCP) I completed in 2016-17 is not like other training programs because it helped me develop certain 'soft skills' that continue to help me in my work. For example, I learned to better manage difficult situations, free myself from limiting beliefs, and communicate more effectively. In an ever-evolving sector, knowing how to manage change is crucial. The LCP also taught me self-mastery and how to better understand myself. The class interactions were motivating and helped me understand various subjects. The trainers were of a very high level. It was an experience I will not soon forget. I highly recommend the LCP to professionals."
— Benito Coureur, Operations Manager, Breeding Department, Avipro
"The LCP was a great experience that helped me grow. First, because it pushed me out of my comfort zone by working with employees from different professional backgrounds. We worked together on the final project. There was open communication among colleagues, and everyone contributed, which greatly enriched me. The LCP was a real springboard for my personal development. Interacting with professionals from other fields opened my eyes to new perspectives, such as the challenges of Finance and the complexities of Marketing. I also appreciated the exchanges with experienced individuals who shared the realities of their careers."
