We are searching for a highly motivated and skilled Restaurant Training Officer to join our team. The Restaurant Training Officer drives operational capability and strict adherence to quality, food safety and Brand Standard by enabling continuous learning, conducting capability assessments and providing training interventions and workshops for restaurant teams across Mauritius. This role demands a steadfast commitment to comply with food safety and Brand Standards, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to effectively execute training programs, building know-how and enhancing employee’s skills to ensure that they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively.
• Conduct In-Store Capability Assessments to evaluate training needs in restaurants in terms of product preparation and service whether in-store service or delivery, as well as to identify improvement needed in internal processes and procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT), coaching in KFC restaurants, training interventions and workshops and find innovative means to refresh training to maintain a good level of knowledge.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and conduct refresher training sessions as needed to maintain high standards (find innovative ways of conducting refresher training).
• Ensure proper recording of training, and follow-up of training records (Tracking sheet, digital platform).
• Ensure compliance with Brand standards as well as regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive training programs both through classroom and OJT on Food Safety Standards.
• Provide operational support during new product launches by delivering on-the-job training and verifying new product quality post-training.
• Stay updated with changes in Brand procedures, CSLs, as well as regulatory requirements and internal procedures
Profile
Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, Operations Management or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role and/or training role in the food industry
Candidate possessing Field Experience will have an advantage.
