Research & Development Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be a key player in formulating new product development based on organisation’s projects and strategies.

• Conduct market researches and customer data gatherings
• Design and implement surveys to obtain information for consolidating R&D plan
• Organise and follow up product testing in laboratory and devise tasting sessions for potential products.
• Ensure liaison with Suppliers, Quality Team, Production Team for materialising product development
• ideas into product launch
• Prepare costings on potential new products
• Give updates on product launch and other projects to Management

Profile

• Degree in Food science or any other related field
• 2 years of relevant experience in the food industry with a proven track record
• Innovative, Self-starter, a finisher, inquisitive, positively curious, open minded
• Able to achieve results within prescribed deadlines, works well with others
• Ability to cope with pressure, excellent communication and organisational skills respond to change
