Pioneer in the Mauritian dairy industry, Maurilait is recruiting a Production Manager to lead its operations and support the development of its plant. As a driving force behind optimization and continuous improvement, the selected candidate will ensure efficient production that meets quality standards while maintaining a safe and high-performing work environment. He/she will also oversee various industrial projects.

The Production Manager, responsible for supervising production teams, will be in charge of the following tasks:

• Planning and coordinating all production activities.
• Leading teams and ensuring compliance with industrial best practices.
• Optimizing equipment utilization to enhance productivity.
• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring quality compliance.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Managing production costs and reporting to management and franchise partners.

Profile

• Engineering degree or master’s in industrial production/agri-food.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in team management within an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in cost analysis and data management tools.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 22000 quality management systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.
• Rigor to ensure production quality and compliance.
• Agility to adapt to industrial challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to foster effective collaboration.
